Agnetha Faltskog
Agnetha faltskog, best known for her work as a Swedish soloist. However, she will always be remembered as a ex-member of ABBA which is the most well-known and profitable commercial pop band. At the age of 15, after leaving school Agnetha started singing with Bernt Enghardt's group, and quickly gained fans. Enghardt secured her a contract with a record deal and soon made it to the highest spot on Sweden's charts, with her debut single. She became engaged and later became married to Bjorn Ulvaeus. The couple was a part of the group "ABBA'. In the following eight years, the group was one of the biggest rock groups around the globe that won many platinum and gold awards around the globe. After ABBA she released three albums, namely "Wrap Your Arms Around Me', Eyes of a Woman' as well as I Stand Alone'. The three albums were extremely successful in Sweden. They were also popular throughout Europe. They were not a major hit on the American scene. In the '80s, ABBA's music was the topic of a musical jukebox called "Mamma Mia!. In the U.K., 'My Coloring Book" was ranked at number eleven. The latest album "A" has received positive reviews.
